Town observes Purple Heart Day

THE TOWN commemorated Purple Heart Day on Aug. 7 and Aug. 8 by projecting a Purple Heart onto the side of the Meeting House. Purple Heart Day is an annual observance that recognizes the brave service members who were either wounded on the battlefield or were killed in action while serving in the U.S. military.
