Lopez was recently named a Student Athlete of the Month for October by the LHS athletics department. She took 22nd overall at the Div. 3A state meet over the weekend, qualifying for All-States.

LYNNFIELD — The season came to an end in heartbreaking fashion for the Lynnfield High girls’ soccer team last Friday evening as they were edged, 3-2, in overtime by visiting Auburn at Pioneer Stadium in the MIAA Division 3 state tournament Round of 16.

Boys’ soccer comes up short to Old Rochester in first round

MATTAPOISETT — The Lynnfield High boys’ soccer team had a long bus ride to Mattipoisett to take on host Old Rochester for their MIAA Division 3 first round game on Nov. 5. 

It was an even longer trip back home for the Pioneers as they were shutout 3-0 ending their season.
