Supporting the Food Pantry

A DONATION of $500 was presented to Renee Bianchi, Director of Client Services for the North Reading Food Pantry on behalf of the Lynn Knights of Columbus by Grand Knight Michael Scarlata of North Reading. The funds were raised during the Lynn KofC’s annual Charitable Golf Tournament through the generosity of its sponsors and players.

Park Street bridge reopens

THE 5-month project to replace the 112-year-old Park Street bridge that spans Martins Brook near the Masonic Lodge was officially completed last week. It was reopened to traffic to the relief of motorists who had been detoured between Main Street and Winter Street since May 5. The town received a $500,000 MassDOT Municipal Small Bridge
