MARK LETCHFORD shipped out yesterday to Fort Sill, Oklahoma to begin Basic Combat Training with the U.S. Army. After BCT he will train as a Cannon Crewmember in Artillery and will be stationed to Europe (around the end of the year). Mark graduated from Wakefield Memorial High this summer, played linebacker for the undefeated 13-0

Melrose 10-year-old Incarnation team concludes strong summer season

INCARNATION BASEBALL’s 10U Melrose All Stars wrapped up a successful summer where they reached their division’s championship game in the Bay State Baseball Tournament. The Melrose All Stars defeated Reading, Wilmington, Sudbury and Brookline before falling to Lawrence in the championship.
