WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield High volleyball team kicked off their 2025 season with an impressive 3-0 victory over Tewksbury last night at the Charbonneau Field House. 

The Warriors took two back-and-forth sets by identical 25-17 scores before finishing it up with a quick, 25-6 win in the third set.

Wakefield’s Arkinstall named on players to watch list for volleyball

WAKEFIELD — Wakefield volleyball senior captain Lila Arkinstall was recently named in a Boston Globe article ranking the top volleyball players to watch in the state this season. 

Arkinstall was mentioned in a trio of Middlesex League middle hitters to watch along with Johanna Melhorn of Winchester and Sabine Wenzel of Melrose.
