WAKEFIELD – Heading into the 2026 Annual Town Meeting, difficult budgetary decisions are already being made by town officials based on anticipated fiscal realities facing the town.

The moves come in the wake of discussions at a recent Tri-Board (Town Council, School Committee and Finance Committee) meeting to address budget deficits in FY2027 and beyond.
