DANVERS — Constance (Connie) Lorente 67, of Danvers, died Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Roderick M. and Cassie V. (Petrykowski) Lorente.
She was raised and educated in Lynnfield and was a graduate of Lynnfield High School and Bryant & Stratton College.
Connie was employed for many years as a hairdresser on the North Shore and also worked for more than 20 years as an office manager for various local businesses. At the end of her work career, she enjoyed working part-time as a Sales Associate at Filene’s.
Quilting was a passion of Connie’s and she made dozens of quilts for family and friends over the years. Her creative talents also extended to working with ceramics, stained glass and oil painting.
A loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she was outgoing and she had an infectious sense of humor. She will be remembered for her thoughtful and giving nature.
