Loved the beach and tending to her gardens

NAPLES, FL — Cheryl Ann (Quinn) Harrington, age 77, of Naples, FL, formerly of Wakefield passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 5 at Vitas Hospice, Naples, FL.

Cheryl worked for many years in various nursing homes and hospitals until her retirement.

Family and friends were extremely important to Cheryl and she enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was hosting friends and family for holidays and get togethers, watching football or sitting by a campfire. But her favorite place was any beach where she could nanny float, take long walks to collect shells, read a good book or her People magazine. Cheryl loved flowers and enjoyed spending time caring for her gardens. Cheryl also made time to drive the streets of Manchester NH providing food, blankets and care packages to the homeless community in the area. Through all these things she made everyone that knew her for just a moment or a lifetime, feel special. In her retirement she found enjoyment through her volunteer work with Team OCEAN at the Rookery Bay Research Reserve in Naples, FL and actively participating in the social activities at her condo association.
