WAKEFIELD — Salem Street, between Wharton Park and Lowell Street, will be closed to through traffic today (July 6) due to ongoing drainage infrastructure work.
Commuters will be re-directed along Wharton Park and Lowell Street. Local abutters within the work zone will still have access to their homes. Please allow additional time if your commute takes you through this area.
Today’s construction is expected to be complete by 4 p.m. this afternoon. Depending on whether the work is completed, the detour may also be in place on Friday; we will update accordingly. Thanks for your cooperation.
