Featured Melrose athlete

This week’s Melrose High Athlete of the Week has helped keep Melrose boy’s varsity soccer unbeaten. Senior Joey Beshel, a Colby commit, scored Melrose’s lone goal over historically tough Winchester in its 1-0 win and previously helped Melrose beat Stoneham, 3-0, with a goal and assist on Sept 30. Beshel has been a key cog to the varsity soccer machine who is now ranked #2 in Div. 2 and remain unbeaten at 7-0-1. Congrats to Joey. (photo by Raj Das, edphotos.com)
