NORTH READING — The North Reading Community Coffeehouse Outdoor Summer Series at Ipswich River Park presents its third and final of concert of the season this Saturday, August 16 starting at 4 p.m.
The concert will take place at the gazebo near the park’s main entrance at 15 Central St. The performers for this Showcase are Ric Page plus four first-timers—Kristen Harlov with Leslie Bryant, Tom Hanlon, and Peter LaGuerre. Each performer will do about a 30-minute set
“They represent a group of very talented musicians with a nice variety of music, which will make for a very entertaining show,” commented NRCC founder Art Grossman, who added, “so bring a blanket or chair, maybe something to eat or drink, and sit back, relax and listen to some terrific music!”
In the event of rain the concert will be moved indoors to the Library Activity Room at 147 Park St. (an announcement will be made via social media as early as possible). There is ample parking at both venues.
The entertainment is presented free but donations are gratefully accepted and all proceeds benefit the Friends of the Flint Memorial Library in North Reading to help support library programming.
The show will be livestreamed on the North Reading Community Coffeehouse Facebook page. The following day, the show will be available on YouTube. The links to the NRCC Facebook page and YouTube channel are:
