Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts build lifelong skills

EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES of joining the Girls Scouts.

WALTHAM — As a new school year begins, families are looking for opportunities that help their children grow, thrive and belong. Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA) offers just that-a safe, supportive community where girls build confidence, discover new interests and make lifelong friends.

While many people know Girl Scouts for cookies and camp, today’s Girl Scouts experience so much more. From hands-on STEM activities and outdoor adventures to community service and creative problem-solving, Girl Scouts empowers girls to explore their passions and see what’s possible. Every activity is designed to help girls develop leadership skills, self-confidence and resilience-tools that will serve them now and in the future.

“Every new school year brings new opportunities for girls to grow with Girl Scouts,” said Danielle Dulchinos, Senior Director of Membership at GSEMA. “We’re here to show families that Girl Scouts is more than a club-it’s a Movement that helps girls discover who they are, connect with others and take action to make the world a better place.”

At GSEMA, every girl’s journey is unique. Families can choose the level of involvement that fits their schedule from joining a local troop to participating in individual programs or one-time events. Whatever the path, Girl Scouts provides a welcoming community where every girl belongs.

Membership is just $70 for the full year-an investment in your child’s growth, friendship and unforgettable experiences. Financial assistance is available to ensure cost is never a barrier.

Through Girl Scouts, she will build confidence and self-esteem; discover new interests in STEM, the outdoors, entrepreneurship and more; develop skills for school, career and life; experience the joy of friendship and belonging; and strengthen her physical and mental well-being.

Plus, Girl Scouts get access to fun, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and growth; memorable adventures and service opportunities; prestigious leadership awards and scholarships; travel and global exploration opportunities; and a lifelong sisterhood, locally and worldwide.

Give her the chance to explore, grow and shine this school year with Girl Scouts.
