LYNNFIELD — The Cape Ann League girls’ lacrosse coaches recently met to select their All-Star teams. Two Lynnfield High players made the First Team while one other was selected for the Second Team.

The Valiton sisters, Taylor and Hayden, both made the First Team.

This spring, the senior captain had 66 goals and 24 assists for 90 points. She was second on the team in goals and third in assists.

She was also first on the team in draw controls with 130.

“She was a solid all-around player all four years,” said Pioneers head coach Christina Serra, about the attacker- midfielder. “She was also a four-year starter.”

Valiton, who was also a captain last spring, finished her career with 307 goals.

Hayden Valiton made the First-Team All-Stars for the second year in a row. The sophomore attacker led the team in goals with 86 and she also had 22 assists, which was fourth on the team. She was second in draw controls with 83.
