MELROSE — A Kindergarten Registration Workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 4 at 7 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Middle School auditorium.
Parents and caregivers are invited to attend the workshop to learn more about the Kindergarten registration process.

Group 1: Current Melrose Public Schools’ families
Pre-registration dates are February 5-12
Group 1: Families that have an incoming Kindergartener and also have a registered student(s) entering grades 1-5 for the 2025-2026 school year. All other families refer to Group 2. A pre-registration link will be emailed to current MPS families on February 5th. This link will be active starting at 9:00 am on February 5th. Any pre-registrations completed after midnight on February 12th will be considered late.
* If your child ‘s siblings are not entering grades 1-5 in September, please follow the process for Group 2.*
Group 2 – Families new to the Melrose Public Schools
Pre-Registration dates are February 13-27
Group 2 is for families wishing to register a Kindergartener for the 2025-2026 school year. A link will be posted on our website www.melroseschools.com starting at 9:00 am February 13th. Any pre-registrations completed after midnight on the 27th will be considered late.
