Enjoyed traveling, hiking and skiing
PEABODY — Lawrence “Larry” Rooney, 91 of Peabody passed away peacefully at home on January 13 surrounded by his loving family.
Larry spent almost 70 years married to the love of his life Naomi. He is also survived by his four children Debra (George) Vierra; Michael (Hollace) Rooney; Lauren (Brian) Carroll; and David (Jennifer, pre deceased). He was lovingly known as “Gramps” to seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Larry and Naomi enjoyed traveling the globe for many years. They shared a love for outdoor adventures including hiking, cycling and skiing.
He will live on in the hearts of his family and many friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
