LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield High baseball team improved to 4-2 on the season with a come-from-behind 6-3 win over rival North Reading at LHS on Saturday morning.
The Hornets entered the game undefeated at 5-0 while Lynnfield was coming in off a tough, 7-6 loss to Hamilton-Wenham two days prior.
North Reading had the momentum early, taking a 3-0 lead through three innings.
Lynnfield exploded for 6 runs on 6 hits in the 4th, highlighted by a 2-run homer from junior captain Luke DiSilvio, scoring senior captain Madux Iovinelli.
The Pioneers shut out Georgetown 10-0 in 5 innings at home on April 15 for their third win of the season.

Junior Harris Hadzihasanovic pitched a no-hitter in the 5 innings to earn the win.
Multiple Pioneers had strong days at the plate including junior Dylan Nguyen who went 2-for-3 with a single, a double, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI’s.
Lynnfield is 2-0 in the Cape Ann League Kinney Division, now ahead of second place North Reading (2-1).
The Pioneers traveled to Pentucket (3-3) on Tuesday after press time. They visit Triton (4-1) on Friday at 10 a.m.
