DANVERS — The seedings have come out for the MIAA North Sectional Gymnastics Meet that will take place on Saturday at Algonquin Regional High School starting at 10 a.m.
Only the top 12 teams in the North qualify.
The Danvers-Lynnfield High co-op team is the second seed as their qualifying score is 144.725. The top-seeded school is Central Catholic at 146.625.
Central Catholic are the defending state champions.
Only the top four teams will advance to the state finals which will be on March 1 also at Algonquin as they will join the top four teams in the South for the eight team final.
Last winter, the Falcons came in third place in the finals behind Central and Masconomet.
This season, Lynnfield-Danvers went 6-1 overall as they came in second place in the CAL-NEC behind Masconomet, who gave the Falcons their lone loss.
Masco is the third seed heading into Saturday.
The Falcons from Lynnfield are sisters Camryn and Callie Donovan, Sophia Catinazzo and Anna Gorman.
Camryn Donovan is a senior co-captain.
