Art in Bloom returns to the library Monday, April 14

LYNNFIELD — The Village Home and Garden Club of Lynnfield is holding the opening night of Art in Bloom at the Lynnfield Public Library on Monday, April 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

This much anticipated springtime event features Garden Club members’ floral interpretations of works of art created by members of the Lynnfield Art Guild and art students from Lynnfield High School.

“Each year, we look forward to bringing the Lynnfield community together to celebrate creative collaboration and to brighten up the library with lots of fresh blooms,” said event coordinator Yvonne Blacker. “And once again, the staff at the Lynnfield Library will be pairing a curated selection of books inspired by the works of art on display.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The guided tour of the pairings of all art and floral creations begins at 7 p.m. During the evening, enjoy light refreshments and enter to win the many beautiful raffle prizes.

Flowers and art will remain on display for public viewing at the library through Thursday, April 17.
