TY ADAMO was one of six baseball players in the state recently named as an Athlete of the Year by the Boston Globe. Adamo hit .478 for the 20-4 Division 4 runner-up Pioneers, adding 18 RBI, 25 runs and a perfect 18-for-18 on stolen bases. He was also named a Boston Herald All-Scholastic and a Phelps Scholar by the Globe. Adamo, a shortstop, will be continuing his baseball career at Columbia next year. (Shlok Kudrimoti Photo)
