LYNNFIELD — Lynnfield High School will send the Class of 2025 off in style during commencement exercises held at Pioneer Stadium on Friday, June 6, beginning at 5 p.m.
If it rains on Friday, the high school’s 66th commencement ceremony will be moved inside the gymnasium. The Class of 2025 is hoping for beautiful weather on Friday.
Similar to previous ceremonies, the 66th Lynnfield High commencement ceremony will begin with the traditional processional of students while the LHS Concert Band performs “Pomp and Circumstance” by Edward Elgar under the direction of first-year Band Director Eric Blackman. The Chamber Singers will be performing “The National Anthem” under the direction of Choral Director Doug Hodgkins.
Student Council President Ella Hayman will be giving the Welcome Address. LHS Principal Patricia Puglisi will also be providing opening remarks.
Senior Rachel Lim will be giving the Valedictory Address during commencement exercises. Senior Class President Michael Murphy will also be addressing the graduates
Superintendent Tom Geary will be certifying the Class of 2025 during the ceremony.
Geary and School Committee Chair Kristen Grieco Elworthy will be presenting diplomas to the Class of 2025.
