Update after press time: Lynnfield defeats Newburyport 13-3 (April 10)
LYNNFIELD — The LHS baseball team earned their first victory of the 2025 season on Saturday at Lynnfield High.
The Pioneers beat Swampscott 5-4 on a walk-off base hit in the 8th inning by Walter Radulski.
Radulski also pitched well on the mound to help Lynnfield win.
The Pioneers fell 5-4 in their first game of the season against Lynn Classical on April 2.
They travel to Newburyport (1-0) on Thursday at 4 p.m. and then to Essex Tech (1-0) on Saturday at 10 a.m.
