Enjoyed music, pool parties and fast cars
SAUGUS — Mario Peter Sorrenti , age 58 of Saugus passed away on June 1 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mario was born and raised in Melrose and attended Melrose High School and Salem State College. He worked for many years in his family’s real estate investment company.
Mario enjoyed music, great Italian food, pool parties and fast cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially his two sons. Mario leaves his parents Mario and Susan Sorrenti of Lynnfield, MA; Michelle Rochon-Sorrenti and their two sons Christopher and Nicholas Sorrenti. He also leaves cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. in the Gately Funeral Home.
