THIS WEEK’S MHS Athlete of the Week has wrapped up a great high school athletic career by becoming a three time All Star for the MHS softball team. This spring Ava Viola led Melrose in hitting with a .300 batting average and a .364 on base percentage, wrapping up a fantastic softball career at Melrose High. She also was a key part of the MHS field hockey team, who made playoffs for the first time in 20 years this past fall. Congrats to Ava and the entire team for a memorable season.
