MELROSE — Buckalew’s General Store is thrilled to announce its 10th anniversary celebration marking a decade of serving the city of Melrose. Join us on Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the store, 259 Main St., Melrose for a day filled with festivities as we commemorate this special milestone with the customers who have made it all possible.
Founded with the goal of creating a welcoming space where neighbors could meet, catch up and shop for their favorite local products, Buckalew’s has become a beloved fixture in the heart of Melrose. Over the past 10 years, we’ve watched friendships bloom, families grow and traditions take root in the place we hope you all consider “your store”.
“Our community means everything to us and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support we’ve received over the years,” says owner Robin Peevey. “When we opened our doors, we wanted this store to be more than just a place to shop. We wanted it to be a hub for connection; where people feel at home. Celebrating this milestone with our customers is an honor and we look forward to many more years of creating memories together!”
The 10 year anniversary event will feature free tastings and food samples throughout the day; specials and sale prices on specially marked merchandise; cups of hot cider and apple cider donuts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; homemade apple crisp with whipped cream by Robin from 2 to 3:30 p.m.; and Regimental Whiskey tasting from 5 to 7 p.m.; get an autographed bottle from the owner Eric Dinoto, a longtime Melrose resident.
Come join us for a day full of fun as we reflect on a decade of community, friendship and growth in Melrose. We can’t wait to see you there!
