Julie Nolan dedicates April comedy show in memory of Stephen R. Patenaude

STEPHEN R. PATENAUDE

MELROSE — While Julie Nolan and Stephen Patenaude never met, they have something in common: both are Melrose residents who have had a son attend Hopeful Journeys, a non-profit school dedicated to the excellence of educating children on the autism spectrum.

Julie’s son Danny was the first full time student at Hopeful Journeys. He graduated in 2023, the same year Stephen’s son Nathan started at the school.

Stephen unexpectedly passed away last month, leaving behind his loving wife Allison and his adoring kids Morgan and Nate.

Stephen left his family far too soon, but his advocacy for the autism community will leave a lasting impact. Julie is proud to honor Stephen and give back to Hopeful Journeys, a school that is dear to her heart and to Stephen’s family.

Join her on Saturday, April 26 at the Melrose Knights of Columbus for comedy and cocktails, as Julie and many others celebrate Autism Awareness month and honor the memory of Stephen Patenaude.
