MELROSE — Come to the second annual Galentine’s Day-themed swap to find and share women’s jewelry and accessories on Wednesday, February 5. The free event will again be held at The Worklery at 441 Main St., 3rd floor, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All are welcome at this community offering celebrating the swap’s namesake holiday. Observed on February 13, it honors friendships, especially among women.
Attendees can bring only these categories of items: women’s jewelry and watches; handbags, purses, hip packs, and slings; gloves/mittens, hats, and scarves (for all seasons); wallets and belts; non-prescription sun and reading glasses; and luggage tags and passport holders. Please limit “gives” to clean items in good condition that fit in one shopping bag. Drop-off ends at 7:30. There’s no need to donate to participate!
Along with The Workerly, sponsors include Zero Waste Melrose and Lend and Mend, an organization focused on reuse and repair.
Help us spread the love by bringing a jar of peanut butter to donate to MelroseKind. Also, keep an eye out for special offers from local businesses for Galentine’s Swap attendees.
