MELROSE—The Melrose-Stoneham High boy’s swim team recently gathered to celebrate their winning season at a season end banquet.
The evening was an opportunity to celebrate their fantastic season, which saw them qualify swimmers to post season and finish a strong 5-3. They also honored their seniors Owen Erelli, Gabe Hunnicutt, Zach Hunnicutt, Gabe Dixon, capt. William Lowe capt. Danny Mirick, Ryan McAndrew and Dan Muller.
The team finished with their first winning season in over 20 years. Junior Jos Baranyi, an All Conference All Star, was named as next year’s team captain. Seniors Gabe Hunnicutt and William Lowe were named as Middlesex League All Stars, and Senior Danny Mirick was named an All Conference All Star. Congratulations, swimmers!
