The Melrose High Class of 2020 got shortchanged in a number of ways during the last months of their public school careers. Tonight, however, we can do show our appreciation for all the seniors have accomplished despite living in a pandemic.
There will be a “Rolling Rally” Senior Car Parade beginning at 6 p.m. from Pine Banks Park. The kids will proceed down Main Street, through the downtown, and will be escorted by police. The parade will cross the Lynn Fells Parkway onto Melrose Street and into the Melrose High parking lot.
Family, friends and others are encouraged to line the parade route to cheer on the seniors, who will graduate in an official ceremony in August.
