MHS sport dozen are signed, sealed & delivered

12 athletes are committed to play college sports

MELROSE—Melrose High is proud to announce that a dozen student athletes at the school will extend their athletic careers to the higher level in the world of college sports. 

Last week, these athletes gathered at the school to sign their letters of intent and NCAA celebratory letters as they prepare for their foray into collegiate sports. This represents one of the largest classes in recent years at Melrose High. 

They include:

Keegan Maloney: Hamilton College, Football

Dylan Harrington: Wesleyan University. Baseball

Brendan Doyle: Wentworth Institute of Tech., Baseball

Noah Fay: University of New England, Golf

Billy Oldham: St. Anselm’s, Cross Country

Caleb Barnes: Amherst College, Track and Field

Sam Madden: Sacred Hart University, Track and Field

Cate Kavanaugh: Union College, Swim

Jillian Frawley: St Michael’s College, Lacrosse

Sophia DiCalogero: Hartwick College, Basketball

Alex Zaino: Plymouth State University, Field Hockey

Izzy Costello: Simmons University, Lacrosse
