MELROSE — Follow Your Art Community Studios (FYACS) announces the return of its “Live from the Living Room” concert series.
The next concert with songwriter, producer and performer Anju will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. at 647 Main St. Anju’s work has been highlighted by NPR’s “All Songs Considered,” Rolling Stone India, WGBH, and Minnesota Public Radio’s “The Current.”
They were recently an inaugural member of Club Passim’s Folk Collective, an artist-fellow at Antenna Cloud Farm’s Experimental Institute, and a member of New Amsterdam Records’ Composer’s Lab.
“Live from the Living Room” began at FYACS in 2022 with live performances by storytellers, authors, poets and musicians in Follow Your Art’s cozy first floor gallery. In 2024, Follow Your Art opened a new outdoor venue that expands the available downtown performance space in the warmer months.
“Live from the Living Room” is a proud member of the Boston Area Coffeehouse Association (BACHA).
The next concert will welcome blues guitarist Peter Parcek to the Follow Your Art patio on Saturday, June 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person. Walk-ins will be welcome as space allows, but guests are encouraged to secure their space in advance by purchasing tickets at bit.ly/FYAconcerts.
