MELROSE –– The Melrose Urban Garden Tour returned this year for a beautiful Saturday! Participants toured Melrose home and community gardens across the city while raising almost $8,000 to support equitable access to fresh, local food in support of the Melrose Farmers’ Market’s SNAP Match program.
This year’s event was made possible thanks to generous Iris-level sponsors: COGS Construction and Design, Garden Aglow, LBG Independent Honda/Acura Specialists and Van Berkum Nursery. The Melrose Farmers’ Market staff and board would especially like to thank Heidi Barraza for organizing this wonderful community-building event, as well as all of the tour hosts, volunteers, sponsors, musicians and participants.
