THIS WEEK’S Melrose High Athlete of the Week is having a great season in the net for the Melrose High boy’s varsity soccer team. Senior captain Owen Brown earned three shutouts in four games as goalie for Melrose, who blanked Wilmington last Friday night, 5-0, at Soccer Night in Melrose. Brown, and Melrose defense, has allowed just one goal in the team’s last four efforts, helping Melrose finish their week with three wins and a scoreless tie. Congrats to Owen and the entire MHS boy’s soccer team for another great effort.
