MELROSE — On Wednesdsay, January 29, Melrose Alliance Against Violence joined with the Melrose Chamber of Commerce and Employers Against Domestic Violence to bring “Domestic Violence IS a Workplace Issue” to the community. This in-depth panel featured District Attorney Marian Ryan and MAAV Executive Director Crystal Johnson along with legal, human resources and law enforcement professionals to discuss how domestic violence affects every part of a survivor’s life including workplace safety, productivity and vulnerability. The audience also heard from a DV survivor about how her employer proactively supported her.

The panel was expertly moderated by Kim Carrigan, host of the Carrigan & Company podcast and dove into practical steps employers can take to protect their business and their employees.
