MELROSE — The City of Melrose is sharing the following updates for the upcoming week:
Presidents’ Day is Feb. 17
All Melrose Public Schools and City Offices, except police and fire stations, will be closed on Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents’ Day. The Melrose Public Library will be closed on Sunday, February 16 and Monday, February 17. Trash and recycling will not be collected on February 17, and there will be a one-day delay in collection for the remainder of the week.

Wyoming Cemetery clean-up begins March 1
Wyoming Cemetery will begin the Spring clean-up on Saturday, March 1. Family members wishing to save any personal, holiday or seasonal decorations or any other mementos should remove them on or before March 1. Any items remaining after March 1 will be discarded. Water faucets will be turned on in mid-May. Questions can be directed to Wyoming Cemetery staff at 781-665-0405.
