MELROSE — Romilda (Pietrantonio) Berardi, 85, of Melrose passed away on Sunday March 8, 2020, in Melrose Wakefield Hospital following a brief illness.
Romilda was born August 25, 1934 in Corfino, Italy, daughter of the late Alberico and Filomena (Costanzo) Pietrantonio. She moved to the United States in 1962 and resided in Melrose. She worked as a seamstress for many years until her retirement. Romilda enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her daughter Maria Berardi of Melrose, her granddaughter Gianna Berardi-Maffa of Melrose, her brother Lucio Pietrantonio of Maplewood, N.J. and her sister Maurilia Tedeschi of Saugus. She is also survived by her loving cat Chico, as well as many nieces and nephews.
