THIS IS a repeat honor for this week’s Melrose High Athlete of the Week, who broke a single season scoring record for the Melrose High varsity volleyball team on Oct. 24 at home. Senior Sabine Wenzel made school history by earning her 342nd kill during Melrose’s 3-0 win over Watertown. Currently sitting at 348 kills, Wenzel and her Melrose team will kick off their playoff run this Friday evening in Hingham. Congrats to Sabine and her team and good luck in your postseason journey!
