THEY WERE all bite and no bark when the Melrose Youth Softball team Bulldogs (5th-6th) became league champions following a 6-5 win over the equally talented Spartans. It was a flawless unbeaten 13-0 finish to the season for the ‘Dogs who relied on MVP Sophie Lyall who knocked in two homeruns and 4 RBIs and three innings pitched. Congrats to the Bulldogs!
