BOSTON — Six members of the Lynnfield High girls’ indoor track and field team participated in the Freshman-Sophomore Meet (Small School division) at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston on Saturday.
Hannah Ozanian ran in the 300-meters and placed 19th out of 63 competitors with a time of 46.28 seconds.
In the 600-meters, Lauren Mattia captured 26th out of 65 runners with a time of 1:54.27.
The 4×200 relay team of Ozanian. Mattia, Emma Greenleaf and Aislia McCormack had a time of 2:00 flat to come in 11th out of 35 teams.
“We had a small group there,” said Pioneers head coach Adam DellAria. “The girls did well overall.”
Meanwhile, that same day, Emilie Bell went with the Lynnfield boys’ team to the Dartmouth Relays up in New Hampshire to complete in the shot-put.
She had a toss of 27-4 to come in 14th place out of 33 throwers.
The next duel meet for the Pioneers (1-0) will be on Jan. 16 as they take on Ipswich at The Track at New Balance in Brighton.
That event will start at 5:30 p.m.
