NORTH READING — The North Reading Community Coffeehouse Performing Artist Series presents An Evening with the Cataldo & Clark Quartet on Friday, September 12 from 7:30-10 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.).
The Coffeehouse is located in the Activity Room of the Flint Memorial Library, 147 Park St. There is a suggested donation of $10 and seats can be reserved by emailing Art Grossman at NRCoffeehouse@gmail.com. A portion of the funds raised will go to the Friends of the Flint Memorial Library to help support the many programs and activities offered by the library.
The Cataldo & Clark Quartet was formed in 2020 as an acoustic duo of Michael Cataldo and Scotty Ray Clark who perform original songs written by Cataldo, the lead singer. Their repertoire also includes soulful interpretations by artists ranging from Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and Leon Russell to Bonnie Raitt and Bob Dylan. Bassist Jim Larkin came aboard in 2022 and keyboardist Ben Parsons joined the group in early 2025. This is a return engagement for the group.
The show is sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. All are welcome to attend an entertaining evening of music. Refreshment sales also benefit the Friends of the Library. Refer questions to Art Grossman at NRCoffeehouse@gmail.com.
