NORTH READING — It’s become a multi-million dollar industry with teams of scientists and chemists working in well-funded labs. Today’s marijuana sure isn’t the pot of the ‘60s or ‘70s!
As the potency range escalates so do the risks of using today’s marijuana.
Learn about how today’s marijuana differs from the pot of 60 years ago as well as the new methods of using pot, and how today’s marijuana poses a risk to all ages from the town’s Drug-Free Communities Grant Coordinator Amy Luckiewicz.
This free wellness program, held in conjunction with the Community Impact Team, will also examine the current trends in over-the-counter CBD therapies and products.
Luckiewicz will host this in-person informational session for community members of all ages on Thursday, March 31 at 11 a.m. at the Edith O’Leary Senior Center, Third Meeting House on the Common, 157 Park St.
“Amy is a wealth of information. Her presentations are very informative and she is open to questions and answers. She can provide practical resources to help people,” commented Senior Center Outreach Coordinator Susan Tilton.
Registration is not required to attend, so please drop in. Those with questions may call the Senior Center at 978-664-5600.
