Contractors for the Department of Public Works are scheduled to return to the Haverhill and Chestnut Street intersection Wednesday afternoon to make adjustments, conduct final testing, and planned activation of the traffic signal lights. Police Officers will be at the intersection and lane closures are possible.

The traffic signal lights at the intersection of Haverhill and Chestnut Streets will be activated tomorrow, Friday, July 11th. Motorists are advised to expect delays as the Department of Public Works’ contractor completes final testing during the day tomorrow. Police officers will be at the intersection and lane closures are possible. The traffic signal is expected to be fully operational by the end of the day. Thank you for your patience and attention.
