NORTH READING — Tryouts for the fall sports season at North Reading High are quickly approaching. The season will officially begin with football tryouts on Aug. 15 and all other sports on Aug. 18.
Registration for fall sports is still open. Student-athletes can register online by visiting the NRHS athletics website at:
north-reading.k12.ma.us/high-school-news/hornet-athletics and clicking on the fall registration instructions tab.
North Reading offers eight sports in the fall: football, girls’ soccer, boys’ soccer, girls’ volleyball, field hockey, girls’ cross country, boys’ cross country and golf.
Practices and scrimmages will continue for the final two weeks of August. The regular season is set to start after Labor Day, Sept. 1.
