NORTH READING — All trash and recycling collections are delayed by one day this week due to the New Year’s Day holiday this past Monday. Normal Thursday collections will be done on Friday and normal Friday collections will take place on Saturday.

Christmas tree collection
Christmas tree collection will take place throughout town on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
According to the DPW, Christmas trees must be placed curbside by 6:30 a.m. All ornaments, tinsel and decorations must be removed and trees cannot be bagged in any way.
