NORTH READING – Halloween falls on a Friday this year and the town’s youngsters will have two additional opportunities to celebrate the day in their costumes before they go Trick or Treating on October 31.
Library 10:30-11 a.m.
Join the Flint Memorial Library for its third annual Halloween costume parade on Friday, October 31! Youngsters will assemble in the Library Activity Room off the rear lot for a craft and music at 10:30 a.m., then parade up the stairs to collect a treat on each floor.
Town Hall 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Town Hall staff is once again hosting “Haunted Happenings in the Hall” on Halloween! Little ones are invited to visit Town Hall, 235 North St., in their costumes with their caregivers to Trick-or-Treat from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 31.
The various departments will also be decorated for the holiday and many of the staff members will be wearing their costumes, all in the spirit of fun!
