Congratulations to the Hornets of the Week: Brittany Morris, Ari Demetri, Kate Denehy, Hannah Frew, Bella Mawn and Joe Serra. Morris, a freshman forward on the field hockey team, scored a hat trick in her first varsity game against Pentucket, helping lead the Hornets to an opening-day victory. Demetri, Denehy, Frew and Mawn are all members of the girls’ soccer team. Demetri had a Sportscenter Top 10 goal and an assist and Denehy stood out on the defensive line in a win over Pentucket. Frew had 8 saves and Mawn locked down the middle of the field in a 0-0 tie against Newburyport. Serra, a senior on the boys’ soccer team, had 2 goals and 2 assists in NR’s 6-1 win over Newburyport. Congratulations to Brittany, Ari, Kate, Hannah, Bella, Joe and all your teammates!
