Carolyn M. Forand, 33

A loving mom who enjoyed going to the beach and hiking

TEWKSBURY — Carolyn  M. (Gormley) Forand, 33, of Tewksbury and formerly of Wilmington and North Reading, died at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness on February 5, 2022.

Born in Winchester on November 9, 1988, she was raised and attended school in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School.

Carolyn worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens and also many years as a nanny for several families, which gave her confidence in a family of her own.

She was a loving mom and enjoyed the outdoor activities with her four children, going to the beach, hiking or spending time with her many lifelong friends. She enjoyed music, and singing and dancing shows in the kitchen. She also enjoyed singing a cappella and in chorus in high school. She enjoyed doing random acts of kindness for others.

Family members include her loving sons, Jackson Plourde of Freemont, N.H. and Asher Forand of Sturbridge, and loving daughters, Ember and Autumn Forand, both of Sturbridge; her parents, Russ Gormley of North Reading and Cindy Nilsson Gormley of Savannah, Georgia; her sister, Kelly Gormley of Wilmington; her grandparents, Veronica Gormley and the late Ernest Gormley, and Harold and Shirley Nilsson, all of North Reading.

Visitation will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Saturday, February 12 from 2 to 5 p.m.
