Enjoyed four wheelin’, clam boils, cars and all things technology
BOSTON — Timothy P. Amaral, 66, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on July 8, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Tim was born in Fall River and graduated from North Reading High School in 1976.
Tim worked at the G.P. Hale Co. in Boston, making many good friends and lifelong memories. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree and worked as a system design engineer. Tim resided in Chicago, Minnesota and had recently moved back east to New Hampshire. He enjoyed summers four wheelin’ on the beach, “clam boils” on the “Island,” and Sundays at Nana’s house. His favorite pastimes were watching sports and speculating on the stock market. He loved cars and all things technology, and we lovingly called him UT and “Mr. Tesla.”
Tim is survived by his brothers, James and Joanne of Minnesota, Anthony and Amanda, Howard and Patti, and Theodore, all of Massachusetts. He leaves behind special nephews and nieces, Justin and Erica, Jared and Emily, Jaymie, Janine, Julia, Howie and Addy, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He also leaves behind many cousins, and special friends Michael and Michelle Breneman. His parents, Mary and Tony Amaral, and loving aunts, uncles and cousins predeceased him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a late date at the family gravesite on Martha’s Vineyard. Contributions may be made in Tim’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation at Kidney.org.
Arrangements are by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly. To leave an online message of condolences please visit www.campbellfuneral.com.
