NORTH READING FIREFIGHTERS helped douse a devastating 6-alarm fire that destroyed five businesses in Lynnfield’s Post Office Square on Tuesday, Sept. 10. With fire showing through the roof of the strip mall upon the arrival of Lynnfield firefighters at 9:24 p.m., NRFD was called to provide mutual aid just minutes later.
