NORTH READING — The 78th annual Frosty’s Fair Christmas celebration is just around the corner this Friday, December 1, from 6-9 p.m., and Saturday, December 2, from 9:30 a.m.– 2 p.m. at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill Street, North Reading.
Come and check out this most beloved fair! This fair truly has something for everyone – marvelous crafts, wreaths and greenery, cookies and fudge, White Elephant bargains, and Elegant Elegant treasures at a bargain! And most tables will accept Venmo payments!
On Friday there will be free (yes free) pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Also be sure to stop in for a very tasty and reasonably priced bite to eat at Frosty’s Cafe. The pastor’s homemade lobster bisque will be available too. The 180 or so quarts of bisque sell out very quickly each year so advance orders can be made by calling the church office at (978) 664-3703 or sending an email to office@nrucc.org. The suggested donation for a quart is $14. The quarts can be frozen to keep on hand for the holidays.
The pastor will also be selling his lobster rolls on Saturday at Frosty’s Café, but orders for lobster rolls do not need to be placed in advance.
And be sure to check out the Like-New Toys and the Children’s Shopping Room – where kids can shop for that special present for their parents, grandparents, or siblings. Most gifts are $5 or less and all gifts come with a free gift bag for the kids to hide their present from curious eyes!
Feeling lucky? Then you’ll want to “Take A Guess” to possibly win our Candy Jar raffle or take a chance on a $400 gift card to a hotel in Ogunquit! Then, before you leave, check out our brand new “Farm Table” and grab a Meal to Go with pre-packaged meals from several local restaurants! We “Ho Ho Hope” to see you there!
