SHREWSBURY — Paul Pellegrino, 69, of Shrewsbury formerly of Melrose and Wellesley passed away on May 30. Born on August 7, 1955 to Joseph and Mildred Pellegrino. Paul was a graduate of Wellesley High School and Boston State College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Later, he earned a master’s degree in business administration from Suffolk University. In 1978, he met the love of his life Paula Zani and they were married in 1980. Paul is pre-deceased by his wife Paula; his sister Kathleen; and his parents Joseph and Mildred Pellegrino. Paul is survived by his son Nicholas Pellegrino and his wife Melissa; his daughter Marissa and her husband Theodore; and his grandchildren Isabella Anthony and Teddy.
Paul was an avid reader and loved reading all kinds of books. He was also an avid lover of birds and loved to bird watch near his second home on Cape Cod. Paul loved spending his summers relaxing on the beach in West Dennis and gardening with his wife Paula. His favorite past time was spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 4 Herbert St., Melrose on Saturday, June 7 at 10 a.m. Please go directly to Church. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
